It’s my Birthday! I can’t believe I’m 23 but, here we are. To be honest, I think that after the age of 21, birthdays aren’t as exciting.

Then again, it’s another year of growth, memories, experiences, failures, and successes. Sometimes I feel like I should have accomplished so much more by now, but I always have to stop myself and realize that I’m only 23 (it feels so weird to type 23) and that there is so much more in store.

Twenty-two was nothing exciting as there was not much to do, but I feel like it was also the age that I started to figure out who I am. As I go on to my twenty-third year of life, I can only hope it’s more exciting than the previous.

I don’t know what’s in store for me or what direction I am heading in. So, for now, I am just going to take it day by day and enjoy what being 23 brings me.
